International Business Strategies
Randall Williams joined the i2d, inc. team with the responsibility for International Business Strategies. Prior to joining, Mr. Williams was the CEO of Harbor Business Group, LLC f/k/a Phoenix KAG Acquisition Group, LLC., a private equity fund specializing in technology for the media industry In addition, Randall was Chairman of the Board of Prime Image, Inc., Prime Image Capital, LLC and several other portfolio companies whose internal funding exceeded $25 million.
Mr. Williams focus is to develop the business strategies and the interaction between our international resources. His vast understanding of business operations, financing and business processes and his knowledge of technology, IT security and the use of business applications to streamline the business process is an asset to our clients. Currently he sits on several Economic Development, Technological and Planning boards for municipalities both at the city and federal level where he often heads the initiation and implementation of many initiatives. Such as Dutchess County Smart Growth Committee and the Cable and Telecommunication Committee.
He has over twenty years of hands on experience in investments, marketing, distribution, financing, technology, government procurement, banking, research, manufacturing, distribution and system design, Mr. Williams’ business expertise extends across the globe. He has assisted companies in various phases, from start up to acquisitions and mergers. Mr. Williams has participated in over $200 million worth of transactions. They included direct funding, acquisitions, direct financing and equity financing both as a principal as well as a consultant. He has the unique ability to evaluate any transaction from the eye of the check writers. His evaluation is based on more than just the opportunity he looks for the true value in the opportunity. He is often called upon global governmental or private sector entities to assist in the sourcing of required material or supplies.
In his many accomplishments, he managed portfolios in the Private Investment Banking, Construction and Technology sector. In the entertainment industry he has been involved in several opportunities in the entertainment industry as principal. These opportunities included record companies, recording studios, television, film and radio production and distribution, artist management magazine publication and project financing.
In Technology he managed Special Projects Data System design and implementation, NYU Department of Applied Psychology. Network design for the City of Beacon, New York. Designed and implemented both wired and wireless network and business and productivity systems utilized by Fire, Police and Building Departments for use throughout municipality. With his knowledge and strategic alliances, Mr. Williams’ has assisted in the marketing of products and services in several countries including Africa, Europe, South America, and the Caribbean as well as in Canada and the U.S.. He has worked with products that have been sought after by major retailers, “shopping networks” and technological products used by industry.
In the Health care industry, SES branded this program “HIPAA University”, to facilitate helping healthcare organizations gain access to best-of-class Security and Privacy products, EDI transactional services, and consulting services to meet their HIPAA Compliance needs. The Company’s HIPAA Compliance Program includes a comprehensive Program Management Methodology (provided in printed and electronic format), a dynamic Virtual Community all of the additional services described below – to simplify acquisition of all value added services needed to meet the HIPAA mandate. University offers training to cover all requirements of the HIPAA regulations. This training can be delivered on-site in a classroom environment, via interactive CD-ROM, and over the Internet via a channel partnership with a third party provider.
Mr. Williams holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Information Technology, with honors, from New York University. He is an independent student of Financial Engineering.
Financial engineering is the application of mathematical methods to the solution of risk management problems in finance. Financial Engineering uses tools from finance, applied mathematics, computer science, statistics and economic theory as its problem solving base. Investment banks, hedge funds, insurance companies, corporate risk managers and regulatory agencies apply the methods of Financial Engineering to such problems as derivative securities valuation, risk management, strategic planning, dynamic investment strategies and the creation of value. He has studied and applied these theories for the past 15 years with great success.
